Robert and Sarah Rosen opened Rosen's Department Store in Woodland, Maine in 1910, moving it to Bucksport in 1929. Today the store is owned by Rosen's grandson Richard Rosen, who took over from his parents, Lawrence and Lillian, in 1985 and continues to run the store with the same tradition of personal service and quality merchandise that the store was founded on. It must work, Rosen's is serving the third and fourth generation of customers as well.

Rosen's has a complete selection of men's and women's clothing and footwear suitable for the office, the job site, or the weekend. Rosen's offers quality clothing from Woolrich, Levis, Tribal, Keds, along with Haggar, Dickies, Carhartt, Alfred Dunner, Playtex, and Wigwam; plus rugged, functional footwear from Wolverine, Carolina, Hush Puppies, Dansko, Rocky, Kamik, and Muck Boots. Keeping their customers in mind, the emphasis is on fashion and function, not fads.

We invite you to come and visit our store to see our complete line of Pendleton clothing, which includes mens 100% virgin wool crew neck sweaters and soft lambswool v-neck sweaters and men's corduroy slacks. We also stock Pendleton's famous wool blankets and several special women's sportswear collections in addition to those available on the site.

Richard says that many of his customers return again and again to Rosen's because they've missed the small store experience.
